This reel is designed to provide both ratchet and free-run functions. It defaults to the ratchet/locked position, and to switch to free-run mode, simply press the spring-loaded ratchet pawl with your thumb, located just above the main frame handle. This can be easily done with the same hand holding the reel. Thanks to its unique design, the reel is snag-free, and the spool tension can be adjusted to suit individual preferences.
Measuring 11.5 cm in diameter and 8 cm in depth, the Pocket Reel is an ideal solution for SMB work. Weighing just 0.3 kg, it can be easily stowed in your BCD or suit pocket, or clipped to a D-ring. The reel comes with 50 meters of 2mm line, with a breaking strain of 98 kg, available in white, neon yellow, or pink.
The main body is made from precision-machined, high-grade aluminum with a black anodized finish, while the spool is crafted from high-grade black PVC. All other components are constructed from stainless steel for added durability.
