The new Fourth Element Stinger Men's Wetsuit is an Ocean Positive garment explicitly developed to protect against UV rays and stinging marine life (stinging microorganisms and jellyfish). It is highly suitable for anyone planning scuba diving or snorkelling in the Indo-Pacific region, northern Australia, and other places where stinging microorganisms can be painful.
The Fourth Element Stinger Suit design for men includes integrated front zip, hood and mitts to assure close-fitting where the water flush is kept to an absolute minimum and allows to enjoy in-water sessions in tropical waters for much longer. The material is heavier than standard lycra, often used in the rash vest to give more protection against more harmful species.
Fourth Element is a worldwide leader in employing more eco-friendly, recycled materials to produce their swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving garments. They engage multiple methods such as recycling plastic waste from the automotive industry, using recycled ghost fishing nets using post-consumer plastic bottles retrieved from the sea. Fourth Element's ECONYL® swimwear and rash guards are made using recycled nylon from ghost fishing nets and discarded waste. A selected line of wetsuits made from Yulex Pure™, an FSC® Certified, ultra-pure natural rubber made in the USA. The plants are grown with natural irrigation systems, and the materials are processed with recycled water. 85% of the Fourth Element Stinger Men's Suit comes from recycling.
